Anthology submission

Yup. Just another submission for the SCAD Sequential department anthology. I did these in about two days, and they look better than anything I've taken my time on all quarter. Go figure.

Innocent and Heartless

So at the very end of the Peter Pan novel, it's said that children (specifically Wendy's children/grandchildren) will continue to go with Peter to Neverland as long as they are innocent and heartless. Which accounts for the melodramatic title.

This was for an assignment. We had to take an old character and revamp them for the 21'st century. So meet Peter the rich school drug dealer, specializing in pills, and Dean Roger Eton, who lost his left hand in a car accident.

I'd love to try and do this someday, when I'm feeling much darker and more brooding.

Sketches Mark II

Just some experiments with pen, brush and marker. I'm really getting used to g-pens. I didn't think I'd like them, but they're a lot of fun. Marker too.

Sketches

These are some sketches. One is of Zasters hat- I've slightly adjusted the logo, which might require some backtracking in photoshop. Here also are some initial sketches of Goddard, dad to Bad, Renny and Zass. More pages coming.

Inking

A couple of quick inks done as an experiment. The characters are Riot and Baxter from my Dungeon Town concept.

Walking Dinosaurs

This is going to go on the front of a postcard. It was done at 5x7.5 and will be reduced to 4x6.

I like it, but now people might start asking if I'M supposed to be Minisaurus or if Minisaurus is supposed to be some kind of pet. I don't really have an answer.

Pinup

I'd never done a pinup girl before and I was curious. I had a lot of fun making her all spindly.

I ripped the watercolor look in this one from the original Winnie the Pooh books.

Ninja New York

Yet another oldie but goodie.

Cans

This is way old, but it's still one of my favorite things that I've done.
